Enable Keyboards InGNOME

To add to or replace the preselected keyboard layout in GNOME, follow these steps:

  1. Click Activities to bring up the search box:

  2. Search for Region & Language, and click on it when listed:

  3. In the Region & Language settings pane, click on the plus sign in the lower left corner of the Input Sources field:

  4. Click the triple dots to show more languages:

  5. Find and select your keyboard layout, and click Add:

  6. Click on Options to see the configured shortcuts:

  7. When done, you can easily switch keyboards via the keyboard menu (or by using the keyboard shortcut):
